Hood got the start against the Bulls with RB1 Rocko Griffin (toe) sidelined. This start gave the backup running back everything he needed for a monster game, as he received a high volume and did just about all he could with it. The 179 rushing yards are the most out of any Minuteman ball carrier so far this season. Hood will look to keep things rolling at Central Michigan next Saturday.
