Williams is off to a rough start for Kennesaw State in 2025. In the opener, he tossed for 149 yards on just 36.4 percent completion, failing to find the end zone and coughing up a ball that the Owls ultimately recovered. In Week 2, he started the game 1-of-2 passing for -1 yards, and head coach Jerry Mack had seen enough, inserting Amari Odom into the game. Against an FCS opponent in Week 3, Mack has elected to play both gunslingers as he tries to solve his QB puzzle as quick as possible.
