2025 Fantasy Outlook
Brown's 2025 season commenced with him working in a backfield committee alongside Maurice Turner, Keyjuan Brown, Duke Watson and Donald Chaney. By Week 5, Brown started to emerge as the top option in the backfield, amassing 13 carries for 72 yards and four grabs for 23 yards and a score in the contest. He served in more of a workhorse role down the stretch, handling at least 50 percent of the rushing attempts in five of the last games and 43 percent against Miami. The only two games he didn't? A game against Stanford in which he missed most of the game due to injury, and the subsequent week against Pitt in a blowout win. Watson is definitely an intriguing option behind Brown, but all signs point to Brown claiming a clear lead role in an explosive Cardinals offense in 2025, which should result in an improvement on his 147 carries for 1,074 yards and 11 touchdowns and 30 grabs for 152 yards and a score over the 12 regular-season contests last season, making him a top-flight fantasy running back option. 126 yards on just six carries
Brown posted six rushes for 126 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 51-17 win over Eastern Kentucky.
ANALYSIS
Louisville let its star halfback take six carries, which he turned into 126 yards (a stunning 21 yards-per-carry!). He scored a touchdown on a third of his carries. Granted, this came against an FCS opponent, but all of the hype surrounding Brown after his breakout freshman year was backed up and then some in the opener. He'll be incredibly dangerous all season long.
