2025 Receiving Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
While Tyson missed the most important portion of the 2025 season from a real football standpoint, sitting out the Big 12 Championship Game and the College Football Playoff after suffering a collarbone injury in the regular-season finale, he delivered during the fantasy portion of the campaign, racking up career-best marks with 75 grabs for 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns over the 12 regula-rseason contests, including three-straight 100-yard receiving efforts in the final three contests of 2025. Tyson was healthy for spring ball, so there should be minimal concern regarding his status heading into the regular season. Sam Leavitt returns under center for the Sun Devils, setting up the passing attack to be one of the more prominent in the college game again this season, and Tyson easily sits atop the pecking order for targets. Notably leaving the mix is Cam Skattebo, who heads to the NFL after finishing second on the team in targets last season, so there's a chance Tyson could surpass his marks from a season ago, especially given how heavily he was utilized down the stretch. Another strong performance in loss
Tyson hauled in 6 of 10 targets for 68 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-20 defeat versus Mississippi State.
ANALYSIS
Even though quarterback Sam Leavitt struggles massively in Saturday's road loss, Tyson still made out with a good performance. He was targeted on nearly half of Leavitt's attempts, caught six of Leavitt's 10 completions, gained 68 of Leavitt's 82 passing yards and caught the sole passing touchdown. Even with arguably the worst performance of Leavitt's career, Tyson's huge target share was enough to maintain a good level of production. With 27 targets and three touchdowns through just two games, Tyson is well on his way to being one of the top receivers in the country once again.
