Leckner had only 17 receiving yards on six catches, but two of those were for touchdowns in Washington State's 36-13 win over San Diego State on Saturday.

ANALYSIS
The Cougars top tight end also only had 17 receiving yards in the first game against Idaho. Leckner could be a reliable red zone target for Washington State quarterback Jaxon Potter. Washington State takes on North Texas on Saturday, Sept. 13. North Texas is fourth in country on pass defense, but the Mean Green's opposition in the first two weeks has been weak. In 2024, North Texas's pass defense was near the bottom in the country.
