The Racing Bulls rookie had quite an impressive day at the Albert Park Circuit. Lindblad would leap four spots on the opening lap thanks to some aggressive moves and good overtakes. The young driver would then execute a one-stop strategy that would see him ride mostly P7 on hard tyres in the latter half of the race. He would wage a spirited battle with Oliver Bearman down the stretch but lose that spot and wind up an impressive P8 in his Formula 1 debut.
