Brandon Smith News: Cut from practice squad

New England cut Smith from the practice squad Tuesday.

Smith inked with the Patriots' practice squad late December but wasn't ultimately elevated for a single game with the team. His spot on the practice squad has now been replaced with veteran wideout Trent Sherfield.
