Howell's arm length measured at 30 and 1/4 inches at the NFL Scouting Combine on Thursday, Nick Shook of NFL.com reports.

Howell is expected to be a first-round pick despite Thursday's underwhelming measurement. There has been chatter about the possibility that fellow pass rusher Rueben Bain will drop in the draft due to his short arms, but Howell's arms measured even shorter than Bain's, which were 30 and 7/8 inches. Howell had 11.5 sacks at Texas A&M in 2025.
