February 6, 2026
Cross (foot) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Super Bowl LX on Sunday, Feb. 8, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Cross upgraded to a full participant in Friday's practice after being limited to start the week. The starting left tackle did not hold an injury designation last week either, and his playing status for Sunday's contest was never in question. The 25-year-old is all set to protect Sam Darnold's blindside on the biggest stage.

Cross is expected to sign a contract extension before the season begins. The 2022 first-round pick has started 48 games over three seasons. He is locked in as the Seahawks' starting left tackle in 2025.
The ninth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Cross played every offensive snap at left tackle as a rookie. He will turn 23 years old in November as he once again protects Geno Smith's blind side.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Extension candidate
OTSeattle Seahawks
June 17, 2025
Cross is a candidate to receive a contract extension this summer, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Cross will be with the Seahawks through at least the 2026 season, as the team picked up the fifth-year option on his rookie contract. Seattle has struggled to develop and maintain talent along the offensive line for much of general manager John Schneider's tenure, particularly at left tackle, so extending Cross figures to be a top priority. The 24-year-old will likely want a deal near the top of the market but he has allowed a significant amount of pressure throughout his career, a potential sticking point in negotiations.
