Missing Week 18
Neal (ribs/hip) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Neal appears to have picked up rib and hip injuries in the Giants' Week 17 win over the Colts, as he didn't practice throughout the week and will now be sidelined for the team's regular-season finale Sunday. Chris Hubbard is expected to serve as the Giants' top right tackle in Neal's stead in Week 18.

Likely shifting to guard
Neal is expected to shift inside to guard next season, Jordan Raanan of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The seventh overall pick in the 2022 Draft has struggled at tackle in the NFL, ranking 74th of 76 in pass-block win rate since entering the league. "[The] good thing about Evan is he's going to do whatever he can to help the team, whether that's guard or tackle," GM Joe Schoen said earlier this month. "When he comes in, he's willing to do whatever he can do to help the team. If that's tackle or guard, he's open to it." A move inside would leave Andrew Thomas, who is recovering from foot surgery, and Jermaine Eluemunor as the Giants' starting offensive tackles.
