2025 Fantasy Outlook
Agnew broke his leg late in the 2023 season and spent the second half of 2024 on the Steelers' practice squad but never appeared in a game. The speedster hasn't had a return TD since 2021 but has six in his career. He's played sparingly at WR - 61 catches on 90 targets for 641 yards and five TDs over three seasons in Jacksonville. Agnew had seven rushes for 111 yards and a TD in 2021, but his rushing production has dipped in each year since. He'll compete with incumbent KhaDarel Hodge for a depth spot. Read Past Outlooks
Optimistic after injury
Agnew said Monday that he "feels good" after injuring his groin in the third quarter of Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Buccaneers, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Agnew played six snaps on special teams Sunday and finished with 57 kickoff-return yards and 29 punt-return yards. He's not in immediate danger of missing the Falcons' Week 2 game against the Vikings, but his practice participation over the coming week will be worth monitoring. Ray-Ray McCloud, Mike Hughes and Natrone Brooks would be candidates to handle return duties if Agnew is not cleared to play.

Agnew once again operated as Jacksonville's primary return man in 2022 and averaged 26.0 yards per kick return and 8.2 yards on punts. He also had a minor offensive role, totaling 23 receptions for 187 yards and three touchdowns to go along with 12 carries for 86 yards. Latest Fantasy Rumors
Makes 53-man squad per Kendall
Josh Kendall of The Athletic projects that Agnew will be the sixth and final receiver to make the Falcons' 53-man roster.
ANALYSIS
The Falcons are dealing with multiple injuries to their wideout room including Agnew, whose oblique injury has prevented him from playing in any of Atlanta's three preseason games. Despite the missed time, Kendall gives Agnew the edge over David Sills and Dylan Drummond for Agnew's return abilities on punts and kickoffs. The Falcons signed Agnew to a one-year, $2.5 million contract in March in the hopes that he would return to the form that earned him an invitation to the Pro Bowl in 2023 as a punt and kick returner for the Jaguars.
