2025 Fantasy Outlook
Coming off an eight-year run in Dallas, Lewis joined Jacksonville in March on a three-year, $30 million contract to become the highest-paid nickel corner in the league. He totaled 71 tackles (including one sack), one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in 16 games last season. Lewis allowed a passer rating of 85.3 on 57 targets, giving up just 5.2 yards per target. He'll be a key piece of the secondary for the Jags in the slot. Read Past Outlooks
Logs full practice Wednesday
Lewis (neck) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Lewis has missed the Jaguars' last three games due to a neck injury. However, his full practice Wednesday indicates that he recovered from the injury and should be cleared to play in Sunday's AFC South tilt against the Titans. Lewis' return could result in a decreased snap count on defense for Montaric Brown.

The 27-year-old cornerback played only six games in 2022 due to a Lisfranc injury, and in his absence DaRon Bland emerged as a prolific ballhawk in the slot role. Lewis is no slouch himself, racking up a career-high 61 tackles and 11 passes defended in 2021, and he should be fully recovered by Week 1. With free agent Stephon Gilmore also joining the Cowboys' secondary in the offseason though, Lewis isn't guaranteed a big role this season.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Priority extension candidate
The Cowboys will prioritize re-signing Lewis this offseason, Todd Archer of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Lewis is overshadowed in the Dallas secondary by both Trevon Diggs, who ended the season on injured reserve with a knee injury, and DaRon Bland. However, he plays a key role as the team's slot corner, and Archer points to his ability as a blitzer and as a mentor to the defensive unit as reasons why the team would prioritize retaining him. Lewis' peak cap hit came in 2023 at $6.1 million, so he should be relatively easy for the Cowboys to re-sign if there's interest on both sides.
