2025 Fantasy Outlook
Eichenberg is a below-average starter, but if surrounded by reliable talent along the rest of the O-line, he'd be capable of avoiding true 'liability' status. Miami's offensive line is no guarantee to provide that level of assistance to Eichenberg, though, with LT Patrick Paul potentially needing more development, and RG James Daniel coming off an Achilles tear. Rookie second-rounder Jonah Savaiinaea and Jackson Carman will both offer real competition to Eichenberg for the starting LG role. Read Past Outlooks

Head coach Mike McDaniel said this week that Eichenberg (undisclosed) will be out for several weeks, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
There's now more clarity on Eichenberg's status after he was placed on the active/PUP list Monday with an undisclosed injury. The 27-year-old is, however, expected to be back for the start of the regular season. In his absence, Daniel Brunskill will likely see extended usage during practice.

2021
Eichenberg, a 2021 second-round pick, hasn't yet showcased reliable starting ability in his NFL career. He remains a vulnerability on offense, one which could be compounded if oft-injured players like Terron Armstead and Isaiah Wynn miss time.
Eichenberg is one of the few true weaknesses along Miami's offensive line. It's no guarantee the 2021 second-round pick keeps a grip on the starting LG role.
The rookie second-round pick could push for a starting gig sooner rather than later.

Struggling to adapt as rookie
OGMiami Dolphins
November 19, 2021
Eichenberg has been the league's least effective left tackle this season, allowing league highs at the position with 43 pressures and nine sacks, as well as a pressure percentage of 10.4 percent, according to Larry Holder of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Miami has had its fair share of issues on offense, and Eichenberg's poor play is chief among them. The Dolphins threw the rookie second-round pick into a starting role right off the bat, and thus far, he hasn't handled the assignment well. The 3-7 Dolphins will likely give Eichenberg the rest of the season to try to improve, but they'll likely search for an alternative option in the offseason if his struggles persist. Shifting Eichenberg to the less demanding guard position could be an option for Miami down the line.
