Starts camp on PUP list
The Cowboys placed Diggs (knee) on the active/PUP list Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Diggs missed the final four games of the regular season last year and six of the final seven contests. He required surgery to fix a cartilage issue in the knee and is being eased back into action. Diggs and DaRon Bland should handle starting cornerback duties this season in Dallas.

Diggs' 11 interceptions in 2021 may not be repeatable, but the 2020 second-round pick was on track for another strong campaign last year before suffering a season-ending ACL tear in Week 2. In his absence, DaRon Bland emerged as a premiere ballhawk in his own right, but Diggs offers plenty of upside on the opposite boundary, recording at least 14 passes defended in each of his three full NFL seasons. Heading into the first season of a five-year, $97 million extension he signed in July 2023, Diggs will look to establish himself as a key part of new defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer's secondary.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Might hit de-escalator
Diggs could lose $500,000 for not rehabbing his knee injury under the supervision of the team during offseason activities, Todd Archer of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Diggs is rehabbing from a torn ACL and subsequent cartilage issue, a combination that could land him on the PUP list to begin training camp. He has opted to rehab in Miami and has not reported for any of Dallas' offseason activities. While optional, many of the team's players on bigger contracts have a $500,000 de-escalator provision if they don't participate in at least 84.375 percent of the offseason program. The Cowboys would still need to enforce the clause, and it's unclear if they will opt to do so.
