2026 Fantasy Outlook
Hip surgery sidelined Horschel from mid-April to mid-September, in which he was having a medicore season by his standards with a couple top-10s across 12 starts before the injury. It followed up a strong 2024 in which he won twice, and we've seen plenty of peaks and valleys in the 38-year-old's career before. In three post-injury starts, he finished MC-T54-T11, leaving it a bit unknown what form to expect in 2026. When Horschel is at his best, he's using his all-around game over excelling at one particular area, but the hip injury and worsening driving play raises concerns for next year. Read Past Outlooks
T48 at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am
Horschel fired a three-under 69 on Sunday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish nine-under and tied for 48th.
ANALYSIS
Horschel converted five of six scrambling opportunities during Sunday's final round at Pebble Beach, which was highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 18th hole where his 208-yard approach shot nestled 11 feet from the cup. However, Horschel lost 2.3 strokes with his irons throughout the week, and he ranked just 61st among the field in overall proximity. He's yet to post a top-25 result through his first five starts of the 2026 season.

After a great 2021-22 campaign highlighted by his win at the Memorial, Horschel struggled quite a bit in 2022-23. 2024 was a career resurgence for Horschel who notched an early season victory at the Corales Puntacana Championship and returned to the TOUR Championship behind seven top-10s and 13 top-25 finishes. Those were the most top-25s in a season for Horschel since 2018-19 and the most top-10s since 2013. On top of that Horschel also won the BMW PGA Championship, the DP World Tour's flagship event, for the second time in four years. Horschel ranked 29th on Tour in SG: Total and fourth in adjusted scoring average last season. There's still plenty of quality golf left in the 38-year-old heading into 2025.
