Surges to T2 at Argentina Open
Korte fired a nine-under 61 during the final round of the 119 Visa Argentina Open on the Korn Ferry Tour to finish tied with S.Y. Noh for second, one stroke back of winner Alistair Docherty.
ANALYSIS
Korte's 61 score in the final round was the best of the tournament and was highlighted by his seven-under back nine, which included an eagle on the par-5 10 and three consecutive birdies from holes 15 to 17. It wasn't quite enough to catch Docherty at the top of the leaderboard, but Korte's efforts to close things out in Argentina was encouraging. He finished the event with 24 birdies (tied for the most in the field) while ranking T5 in sand saves and T18 in GIR. He'll tee it up next week at the Astara Chile Classic.
