2025 Fantasy Outlook
Kim was squarely on the FedExCup top-125 bubble late in the summer, but he salvaged his season with three top-15s over his final four events to secure his status for 2025. While Kim has become well known for his threads on Twitter, he's also played some quality golf with 18 top-25s since February of 2023. He doesn't necessarily jump off the page when it comes to any specific facet of the game, but he gained strokes in every category excluding off the tee, and he does have good distance with his driver, albeit somewhat sporadic. If he can clean up the occasional stretches of missed cuts, he's a candidate to make the playoffs next year. Read Past Outlooks
T56 at Baycurrent Classic
Kim carded a three-under 68 on Sunday at the Baycurrent Classic to finish one-over and tied for 56th.
ANALYSIS
Kim holed nearly 257-feet worth of putts during Sunday's final round at Yokohama Country Club, where he ultimately ranked top-25 among the field in both SG: Off-the-Tee and SG: Putting for the week. However, Kim struggled with his iron and wedge play in Japan, while also hitting just 36 of 60 total fairways in regulation. He'll tee it up again this week at the DP World India Championship.

2016
Kim struggled mightily for three years following his only Tour win in 2018 and was relegated back to the Korn Ferry Tour in 2022, where he played well enough to regain his card. He followed it up with one of his best years, recording four top-10s in 2023. Although he doesn't stand out in any particular area, he gained strokes in every category except for off-the-tee, where he does have solid length as he ranked 58th driving distance. He's not particularly exciting from a fantasy standpoint, but is capable of getting into contention on weeks when the putter gets hot.
