2025 Fantasy Outlook
Norrman broke out in 2023 winning the Barbasol Championship and later adding the Irish Open on the DP World Tour a couple months later. It was hard to not to be optimistic about the young Swede, but he took a major step back in 2024 recording exactly zero top-35 finishes across both tours. Norrman continued to bomb it off the tee, but everything else was extremely sloppy. Big changes need to be made if he is going to keep playing status on the PGA Tour past 2025. Still just 27 years old, there's at least some hope he can turn things around and get back to being a factor. Read Past Outlooks

Norrman (back) has withdrawn from this week's Texas Children's Houston Open, PGA Tour Communications reports.
ANALYSIS
Norrman has been battling a back injury and is not going to be able to play in Houston. The Swede has really struggled the last couple years. His last top-25 was at the Barracuda Championship in 2023 the week after he won the Barbasol Championship.

2024
2023
The 25-year-old Swede was a relative unknown heading into last season but established himself as a potential budding star after winning the alternate event Barbasol Championship and the Horizon Irish Open against a strong field on the DP World Tour in September. The ceiling appears high due to his length (ninth in driving distance), leading to plenty of low scores as he was 32nd in birdie or better percentage. If he can make some minor improvements with his short game, Norrman could enter the top-50 in the OWGR sooner rather than later.
Norrman earned second-team All-American honors in his final year with NCAA eligibility at Florida State during the 2020-21 season. The 24-year-old Swede then finished 23rd on the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour's regular season points list in his first full season as a professional, quickly earning a PGA Tour card for 2022-23. His 2022 KFT campaign was highlighted by a runner-up effort at the REX Hospital Open in early June, though Norrman also ranked second in GIR percentage as he paced the KFT in ball striking. Norrman could rapidly gain fantasy relevance if he's able to make improvements with the flat stick.
