SLATE PREVIEW
Edmonton and Nashville are playing in the second half of a back-to-back set, but it goes further than that. Each of those teams will be playing for the seventh time in just 11 days, so it wouldn't be surprising if the Oilers and Predators are running on fumes at this point. The other squads playing Tuesday are rested, but Utah also has a game scheduled Wednesday, which might influence its lineup decisions.
GOALIES
Connor Hellebuyck, WPG at LAK ($8,000): Hellebuyck has a 6-3-0 record, 2.34 GAA and .921 save percentage through nine appearances this season, so it's fair to say he's having another strong campaign. Assuming he gets the start, this will be his second game against the Kings this year after turning aside 30 of 32 shots en route to a 3-2 win over them Oct. 11.
Frederik Andersen, CAR at NYR ($7,700): Andersen has had mixed results in 2025-26 with a 4-3-0 record, 2.96 GAA and .894 save percentage in seven outings, but he's a great goaltender who should improve as the campaign progresses. A game against the Rangers might help. The Rangers rank 31st in goals per game with 2.38 this year.
Lukas Dostal, ANA vs. FLA ($7,400): Dostal is a risky pick tonight, but his somewhat low cost makes him an interesting pick. He is off to a solid start with a 5-3-1 record, 2.55 GAA and .916 save percentage in nine outings. Granted, the Panthers are not an opponent to be taken lightly after their consecutive Stanley Cup championships, but they've been missing key forwards in Matthew Tkachuk (groin) and Aleksander Barkov (knee), and that might be weighting on Florida, given that the team ranks 30th in goals per game with 3.50.
VALUE PLAYS
Marcus Johansson, MIN vs. NAS ($5,000): Johansson's most productive seasons are behind him, but the 35-year-old still has his moments. Lately, he's been fantastic, supplying four goals and six points over his past five outings. He'll cool off at some point, but he's a nice grab while he's hot.
Ivan Demidov, MON vs. PHI ($5,000): Demidov is an early frontrunner for the Calder Trophy after supplying three goals and 10 points across 12 outings this season. He's been reasonably consistent too, recording at least a point in six of his past nine appearances.
Viktor Arvidsson, BOS at NYI ($4,400): Arvidsson didn't exactly impress over his opening seven games of the season given that he was limited to a single point (an assist). However, he's picked up the pace with Boston, providing three goals and five points over his last seven games. He is still searching for his first power-play point of the campaign, but Arvidsson is averaging a healthy 1:49 of ice time with the man advantage and is part of the top power-play unit, so production in that depart should come.
FORWARD LINE STACKS
Jets at Kings
Mark Scheifele (C - $7,800), Kyle Connor (W - $8,000), Gabriel Vilardi (W - $6,200)
Vilardi had a somewhat quiet start to the campaign with four assists through seven games, but now he's one of the hottest players in the league after supplying five goals and nine points across his past five outings. He's a great pickup, but this was a strong line to consider even when Vilardi was cold.
After all, Scheifele and Connor are elite forwards who are easy to recommend on most nights. Scheifele's earned a league-leading 20 points, including nine goals, through 12 appearances this year, and Connor's not far behind with eight goals and 17 points in the same span.
Mammoth at Sabres
Logan Cooley (C - $6,600), Dylan Guenther (W - $6,800), JJ Peterka (W - $5,600)
Cooley is on a roll with six goals and nine points over his past five appearances, and Guenther has been similarly effective with three goals and eight points across his last seven outings. Meanwhile, Peterka has been a steady contributor in 2025-26 with four goals and 10 points in 12 appearances, including two goals and six points in his past five outings. That combination makes this a great trio at a reasonable combined price.
DEFENSEMEN
Cale Makar, COL vs. TBL ($7,500): Makar is on a seven-game scoring streak in which he's recorded two goals and 11 points. That brings him up to four goals and 18 points through 13 outings this year. He also leads all defensemen in power-play points with seven.
Josh Morrissey, WPG at LAK ($5,900): If you select that Jets' forward line stack, then Morrissey is a nice blueliner to include with them. He's riding a five-game scoring streak in which he's collected a goal and nine points. That's compensated for his slow start to the campaign, giving him a goal and 11 points through 12 appearances this year.
Jacob Trouba, ANA vs. FLA ($5,200): Trouba hasn't been much of an offensive contributor in recent years, but his recent games have been an exception. The 31-year-old has two goals and seven points over his past six appearances, which makes him a great discount option for now.
