Elias Pettersson Injury: Sitting out Saturday

Pettersson (upper body) won't play Saturday versus the Wild, Dan Murphy of Sportsnet reports.

Pettersson left warmups before line rushes started. The 27-year-old's absence will have a ripple effect throughout the Canucks' lineup, allowing Jonathan Lekkerimaki to stay in after he was previously in line to be scratched. Pettersson's status should be updated during or after Saturday's contest.
