Walker Duehr News: Hits waivers for AHL assignment

Duehr was placed on waivers by the Jets for the purpose of assignment to AHL Mantioba, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.

Duehr suited up in 24 NHL games last season between Calgary and San Jose but will begin his first season with the Jets in Manitoba. In those 24 games in the NHL, the 27-year-old combined for two goals and one assist. He also scored 16 goals in 36 AHL games.
