Angus Crookshank

Crookshank has developed into a strong player at the AHL level, but he hasn’t had many chances in the NHL. The 25-year-old (26 on Oct. 2) had 22 goals, 40 points and 36 PIM across 62 appearances with AHL Belleville as well as an assist, nine shots, 11 hits and four blocks in eight games with Ottawa during the 2024-25 regular season. Now with New Jersey after inking a two-year deal over the summer, Crookshank is likely to open the upcoming season in the minors. He might get the occasional stint with the Devils if injuries warrant the promotion, but he’s unlikely to receive better than a fourth-line assignment if he does draw into the NHL lineup.
