Brett Berard

Berard got his first taste of the NHL in 2024-25, earning 10 points with 59 shots on net, 53 hits and a minus-6 rating over 35 games. It's premature to judge that performance harshly -- there were plenty of things wrong with the Rangers as a whole, making it a rough landing spot to get some NHL time. He'll be 23 years old for all of 2025-26, and with the Rangers remodeling their roster, there could be room for Berard to grow into a larger role. He plays bigger than his 5-foot-9, 175-pound frame, and that effort level will be appreciated, but it will need to be coupled with results for Berard to be an option in most fantasy formats this year.
