2025 Fantasy Outlook
Glass produced six goals and 22 points in 65 regular-season appearances between New Jersey and Pittsburgh in 2024-25. After being acquired from the Penguins on March 7, he collected two goals and four assists in his first seven outings with the Devils. However, a lower-body injury ended his hot streak. Glass landed a two-year contract with the Devils during the offseason and will be in the mix for a middle-six role in the 2025-26 campaign. He plays a solid defensive game, but he may not do enough to warrant much fantasy attention unless he heats up offensively enough to be a waiver-wire option. Read Past Outlooks
Missing some time
Per Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site, Glass (upper body) will be out of action for "some time," head coach Sheldon Keefe said Friday.
ANALYSIS
Glass suffered the injury Tuesday, and Keefe said that "it's not a day-to-day situation." Glass has two goals, nine shots on net and six PIM in six games this season.

Glass had a hat trick in an early March game against Colorado, the most impressive performance of his career. Unfortunately for both him and the Predators, those three tallies represented exactly half the goals he scored in 41 appearances all season. Glass is a talented offensive player who has struggled to adapt to a depth role. The issue is that he's never displayed enough consistency to earn top-six and power-play minutes. It's that potential that likely led to the Penguins acquiring Glass from the Predators in a trade this offseason. Youth is on his side given he's still just 25 years old, but there's zero reason to expect a breakout at this stage of his career -- even with the move to Pittsburgh.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Unlikely to stay with New Jersey
Glass is not expected to receive a qualifying offer from the Devils, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports Friday.
ANALYSIS
The Devils have until June 30 to make that official, but it looks like Glass will be allowed to test the market. The 26-year-old put up 22 points over 65 regular-season games between Pittsburgh and New Jersey last season. He'll provide center depth wherever he signs, likely in a third-line role.
