Cole Guttman

A busy offseason for the Blackhawks could make it difficult for Guttman to get back into the NHL on a regular basis in 2024-25. The forward has 14 points over 41 contests across the last two seasons at the NHL level, and he's a proven AHL scorer with 40 points in 39 games with AHL Rockford last year. Nonetheless, Chicago added five experienced wingers and will likely get Taylor Hall back from a knee injury to start the upcoming campaign. At 25 years old, Guttman's development isn't necessarily a priority for the Blackhawks -- he'll have to earn every second of ice time he gets this coming year. If he were to spend the full campaign in the NHL, he'd likely top out around 20 points and carry a poor plus-minus rating.
