2025 Fantasy Outlook
Taken with the No. 183 overall pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, Koepke worked primarily in the minors for years before he enjoyed his first full campaign at the top level in 2024-25. He posted 10 goals, 17 points, 17 PIM, 85 shots, 177 hits and 26 blocks in 73 regular-season outings with the Bruins in 2024-25 while averaging 11:15 of ice time. Koepke will likely continue to serve in a bottom-six capacity in 2025-26 after inking a one-year deal with the Jets in the summer. The change of scenery is unlikely to impact Koepke’s value, so expect him to be a solid source of hits in 2025-26, but don’t pencil him in for more than 10-20 points. Read Past Outlooks
Shifted to injured reserve
Koepke (undisclosed) was moved to injured reserve Thursday, per the NHL media site.
ANALYSIS
Koepke has already missed two games due to his undisclosed injury and will now be out of action for at least one more. The 27-year-old winger is stuck in a season-long, 14-game goal drought during which he recorded a mere 13 shots. Even once given the all-clear, Koepke will be hard-pressed to secure a place in the lineup, especially with Gustav Nyquist (undisclosed) returning to action.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Koepke had a solid 20 goals and 39 points across 53 regular-season games with AHL Syracuse in 2023-24, but he's never been an offensive force at the NHL level, providing just a goal and three points across 26 regular-season outings going into the 2024-25 campaign. That lack of scoring is unlikely to improve for the 26-year-old, who made the Boston Bruins' Opening Night lineup, but as a fourth-line forward. For fantasy managers seeking hits, Koepke is at least capable of providing in that category, but he doesn't bring anything else of note to the table statistically.
