Drake Batherson

Batherson had 26 goals and 68 points across 82 regular-season outings with Ottawa in 2024-25, making it his third straight campaign with at least 20 goals and 60 points. The 27-year-old gets a lot of his value from the power play, which accounted for nearly half of his points (31) last campaign. That makes him somewhat dependent on maintaining a spot on the top power-play unit for his production, but given his track record of success, Ottawa is expected to keep him in that role. Batherson also has a physical aspect of his game -- he had 30 PIM and 149 hits in 2024-25 -- which gives him some added versatility in certain fantasy leagues. We’ve probably seen Batherson’s peak, but he’s likely to maintain it for several years to come, especially because he’s stayed remarkably healthy with an active iron man streak of 256 consecutive games.
