Jani Nyman

Nyman is an intriguing player who may be worth taking a flier on in 2025-26. The 21-year-old found the back of the net in his NHL debut in March, and he had three markers, six points, 22 shots on goal and 13 hits over 12 appearances with the Kraken last season. Most notably, three of his six points came with the man advantage -- he received 2:19 of power-play ice time per game during his stint with Seattle. While the 2022 second-round pick was sent back to AHL Coachella Valley before the 2024-25 regular season concluded, he'll certainly contend for a full-time role during training camp. Nyman has a knack for scoring goals -- 28 in 58 regular-season outings with the Firebirds last campaign -- so there's some sleeper appeal here if the youngster continues to ascend in his development.
