Blichfeld made his NHL debut in 2019-20, playing in three games with the Sharks. He was more productive with the AHL's San Jose Barracuda, where he amassed 16 goals and 16 helpers in 44 outings. Blichfeld is probably another year or two away from making the NHL roster, but it's been a remarkably fast progression for the seventh-round pick from 2016. Still just 22 years old, Blichfeld will challenge for a spot in the lineup during training camp, but don't be surprised to see him return to the minors when the AHL season gets underway.
