Myrenberg was a fifth-round pick of the Canucks in 2021, but he has yet to sign his entry-level contract. He'll now join the Bruins' prospect pool. The Swede has three points in nine games with Mora IK in the second-tier Allsvenskan in his native country.

Headed back to Sweden?
DBoston Bruins  Minors
April 3, 2025
Myrenberg has reportedly stopped practicing with AHL Providence and may have returned to his native Sweden, per Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Myrenberg's NHL rights were acquired by the Bruins back in October of 2022 in a trade with Vancouver, but he never signed with the club. According to PuckPedia, if he doesn't agree to a contract with Boston by June 1, he will become a free agent -- something that seems very likely considering he is no longer working with the team's minor-league affiliate.
