2025 Fantasy Outlook
Brazeau was dealt to the Wild from the Bruins in 2024-25 and finished the regular season with 11 goals, 22 points, 123 hits and a minus-9 rating over 76 total appearances between the two teams. The 6-foot-6 forward found in a new home in the offseason, as he signed a two-year, $3 million contract with the Penguins. Brazeau may not be a lineup regular in 2025-26, and the Penguins are expected to finish toward the bottom of the league standings, so it’s best to avoid the right-shot forward in most formats, unless he's able to carve out a middle-six role or better with power-play time. Out at least four weeks
Brazeau (upper body) will miss at least the next four weeks, the team announced Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Brazeau has already missed the last two games because of the injury. The 27-year-old was off to a great start with six goals and 12 points through 12 games. It helped that he was playing alongside Evgeni Malkin, who was on the scoresheet for nine of Brazeau's 12 points. Philip Tomasino and Thomas Novak could get more opportunities to skate alongside Malkin due to Brazeau's absence.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Brazeau was never drafted and spent the vast majority of his first pro season in the ECHL. He fought his way up the ranks, though, and his hard work was rewarded when he made his NHL debut Feb. 19 at the age of 26. The Ontario native ended up with five goals and seven points across 19 regular-season appearances with the Bruins as well as a goal and an assist in nine playoff contests. Brazeau is never going to be a star, but there's a chance he'll record up to 30 points next season while serving in a bottom-six role with the Bruins.
