2024 Fantasy Outlook
Samoskevich had his first full pro season in 2023-24, and although he spent most of it in the minors, he gave Panthers fans plenty to look forward to. He had 22 goals and 54 points in 62 regular-season contests with AHL Charlotte, which was good for third place in the rookie scoring race. He also got a couple of stints with the big club, but he didn't record a point over seven contests with Florida. Now that he has more experience, the 21-year-old will be fighting to earn a middle-six spot out of training camp. Samoskevich will be given a fair shot to earn that gig, but Florida is deep enough to afford to be patient with the young forward, so fantasy managers in standard leagues would be best served to observe the situation but not draft him yet.
