However, he's practiced with the team recently and will be able to return to game action against Columbus. Serving in strictly a depth role for the Oilers last season, Janmark averaged a career-low 11:54 of ice time per game and managed just four goals and 12 points in 71 games. He was better in the playoffs, with four goals and eight points in 25 games. Edmonton clearly valued his contributions given the fact they handed him a three-year, $4.35 million contract to stick around in free agency. Janmark should again occupy a slot on the fourth line for the Oilers while helping out on the penalty kill. It's not a gig that will lead to fantasy value in any format.
