However, there’s not much else here beyond it being noteworthy to get his first taste of the NHL at that age. He had no points or shots in 13:09 of ice time and didn’t make another appearance for the Blue Jackets. Instead, Sillinger had 11 goals and 29 points across 44 regular-season outings with AHL Cleveland in 2024-25. He’ll turn 28 on Sept. 23 and is still with Columbus after inking a one-year, two-way contract over the summer. Look for him to spend most, if not all, of the upcoming campaign in the minors. That limits his chances of making the Blue Jackets' Opening Night roster, but even if he starts the season in the minors, he might get a shot with the big club at some stage of the campaign.
