ANALYSIS
After making a career-high 70 NHL appearances with the Kings during the 2021-22 campaign, Bjornfot has spent most of the past three seasons in the minors. He made 14 regular-season appearances in the NHL with Florida last year and was held without a point while recording 13 hits, 10 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating. The 24-year-old could join the Panthers for training camp this fall, but it seems as though he'll play mostly in the minors once again during the 2025-26 season.

Bjornfot played four NHL games with three teams in 2023-24, skating in one contest with the Kings, two for the Golden Knights and one with the Panthers. He was claimed off waivers twice while spending time on injured reserve and appearing in 14 AHL outings between Ontario and Henderson on conditioning loans. Bjornfot didn't record a single point with the five teams he played for last campaign. At the NHL level, he was credited with one shot on goal, seven blocked shots and four hits. The 23-year-old defender will compete for a depth spot with Florida during training camp, but getting playing time in 2024-25 will be difficult, and he doesn't move the needle from a fantasy perspective either.
