Souza was fortunate judge Derek Cleary saw it her way, as Cleary awarded her the first two frames despite the fact she gave up multiple takedowns in each, as well as finished behind in both significant strikes and control time. The second round was at least a bit closer, as Souza threatened with a submission and partially landed a big elbow. While this fight was by no means a rout, Souza has now lost back-to-back fights, but by split decision. She'll likely need a bounceback her next time out to remain with the organization.

It will be interesting to see if Ketlen can follow up this performance with another strong one her next time out. In the meantime, she'll earn a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus as one of just two fight finishers on the evening.
