Jackson will look to continue what's been a highly successful UFC career thus far. He's currently sitting at 8-2 in the promotion, has won five straight fights and hasn't lost since 2020. In has last bout, he disposed of his last opponent, Da'Mon Blackshear, 18 seconds into the first round of their fight back in July. His opponent, however, is also on a roll: Marcos is 4-0 in the UFC and has yet to lose a professional fight.

It happened so quickly that if you blinked, you would have missed it. To nobody's surprise, Jackson would go on to earn a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus for his efforts here. Montel's striking is exceptional. He's super fast and very powerful. A winner of five in a row, the lone problem for Jackson at this point is that he's struggling to get matchups with notable opponents. For his part, Jackson says he wants to fight more frequently. It's a necessity if the 32-year-old hopes to continue to climb the rankings in the loaded bantamweight division.
