Lee up next
Peek will fight Jeong Yeong Lee at a UFC event scheduled for May 3, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
A loss to Yanal Ashmouz in September gave Peek his third defeat in his last four fights. If he's unable to overcome a three-inch reach disadvantage against Lee, who is 2-1 since joining the UFC, Peek's future with the promotion may come into question.

Can't defend takedown in loss
Peek lost to Yanal Ashmouz via unanimous decision (27-30, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Peek is a madman inside the Octagon. He has legitimate power and has displayed an ability to keep a crazy pace. That's all well and good, except for the fact he was unable to defend a takedown in this fight to save his life. Peek most definitely won the striking exchanges between the two, but you aren't going to take a 15-minute decision when you allow nine takedowns for 8:16 worth of control time. This will become the game plan against Peek moving forward. Don't give him any space in which to operate, and try to pin him either along the fence or to the mat. The 29-year-old Alabama native appears to be on borrowed time having lost two straight and three of four dating back to June 2023.

Next fight scheduled
Peek is scheduled to compete against Yanal Ashmouz in a lightweight fight at UFC Vegas 97 on September 7, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Peek will look to bounce back on his upcoming challenge after suffering a loss against Charlie Campbell in April. Peek is an entertaining fighter but needs to control himself more as his recklessness during fights has caused him to alternate between victory and defeat. His new challenger, Yanal Ashmouz, whose last fight was over a year ago, suffered a loss to Chris Duncan via unanimous decision.

Inconsistent ways continue
Peek lost to Charlie Campbell via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
If you've seen one Peek fight, you've seen them all. Trevor is absolutely incapable of having a boring bout, but on the flip side, he's simply too reckless to stack wins together. This fight was fought at a ridiculously high pace, but Peek didn't get the better of the action. His two takedowns and 3:15 worth of control time were nice, but also negated by the four takedowns and 5:41 worth of control time from Campbell. The 29-year-old Alabama native has alternated losses and wins in his first four UFC bouts. Expect him to hover around the .500 mark moving forward.

ANALYSIS
Peek will look to continue his relative 2023 success in 2024. He fought thrice, finishing the year with a 2-1 record. Peek logged his UFC debut with a knockout win over Erick Gonzalez, suffered his first pro defeat to Jose Mariscal and upset Mohammad Yahya in enemy territory. While Campbell did not have the 2023 Peek had, the former still impressed during his lone fight against Alex Reyes, which ended via first-round TKO.
