Power Unit Issues
Formula One
July 8, 2025
Colapinto stalled and finished 20th in the British Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Silverstone Circuit on Sunday afternoon.
ANALYSIS
The young Alpine driver started from pit lane after his qualifying crash and changes to his car under parc ferme conditions. Colapinto would attempt to go at the lights out but his Alpine-Renault would stall on pit lane and could not get underway. After some quick diagnosis by the team he would be rolled into the pit stall for the day with some type of power unit issue. It was a disappointing British Grand Prix weekend for Colapinto and he'll look to rebound next round out in Belgium.
