Leads Opening Toronto Practice
Once again, an Andretti Global driver was atop the speed chart in preparation for the NTT IndyCar Series Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto. But while last year it was Colton Herta leading the way in every session, including the race, this time it was Kirkwood in Friday's opening practice.

Kirkwood logged a lap of 1:01.2054 of the Toronto street circuit and beat out Scott McLaughlin by just over a tenth. The Andretti Global star is coming off a rough couple races at Iowa Speedway last weekend and looking to rebound on a much friendlier street course. Kirkwood will be a top contender to win in Sunday's Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto.

Takes Detroit Grand Prix Win
Kirkwood survived front wing damage and pulled away on a late restart to win the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear on Sunday. It was the second victory of the season and fourth career NTT IndyCar Series victory for Kirkwood.
