Nick Sanchez

Big Machine Racing
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Sanchez is another fast-track prospect driver who'll get a shot at full-time competition in the Xfinity Series in 2025. The 23-year-old Floridian is coming off two strong truck series campaigns where Sanchez racked up a couple victories and better-than 50-percent Top-10 rate over two seasons. Big Machine Racing has signed him to drive the No. 48 Chevrolet team's seat and replace the outgoing Parker Kligerman. Kligerman posted 15 Top-10 finishes with this team in 2024 and finished a respectable 10th-place in the final driver standings so it is a competitive outfit. Sanchez will look to take them to the next level and grow his experience and performance in the process. He has little experience in this division of NASCAR with just eight starts, so there will be some learning curve to be expected. Read Past Outlooks

Sanchez was fastest in Happy Hour practice for the SciAps 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday. He turned a fast lap of 122.396 mph.
ANALYSIS
Sanchez and his No. 48 Chevrolet stayed on a roll Saturday in the lone practice ahead of pole qualifying at Bristol. The young driver edged Taylor Gray to turn the fastest lap of the half-mile oval. Sanchez has shown good speed in recent races and will look to challenge the Top 5 Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Last season's Rookie of the Year winner will return to the No. 2 Rev Racing squad. Despite having a winless campaign, Sanchez would check a lot of boxes last season. The young driver would grab two Top-5 and 12 Top-10 finishes. In addition, he'd storm to five pole positions. It would all add up to a very surprising sixth-place finish in the final driver standings. What will Sanchez do for an encore? We believe he'll makes some big strides and likely grab his first-ever truck series win. He'll have to do it with a new crew chief as Danny Stockman moves up to the Xfinity Series. No replacement has been named at the time of this writing, but the team situation is good enough to endorse without the piece of the puzzle yet.
The 2022 ARCA Menards Series champion will make the jump full-time to trucks in the upcoming season. Sanchez completely dominated that lower division last year with three victories and 16 Top-10 finishes en route to the title. Sanchez will turn 22-years-old mid-season and that's a bit older than most drivers who make this promotion. Rev Racing put together an alliance with Kyle Busch Motorsports to field this truck this season, so it should be good equipment and personnel. Veteran crew chief Danny Stockman will be calling the shots for Sanchez in his first truck series season. The young driver should have the inside track on this season's Rookie of the Year award with this kind of support.
