2026 Fantasy Outlook
RSS Racing returns for another season in 2026 and the veteran driver Sieg will pilot the team's car for the full schedule. This year the team moves to Chevrolet from Ford so there will be some anticipation of the net gain from that move. Sieg grabbed 10 Top-10 finishes in 2025 and led a career-best 107 laps in the campaign. That's been the trademark of this small, underfunded team. They are competitive despite the odds they face. Sieg now has 400-career O'Reilly Series starts to his credit and the 38-year-old racer is a very smooth and polished driver. Short tracks and large ovals will once again be his sweet spot and definitely weekends to deploy in weekly fantasy racing formats. Read Past Outlooks
Third in United Rentals 300
Sieg finished third in the United Rentals 300 O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday evening.
ANALYSIS
Accidents would take 14 cars out of this race short of full distance, so survival was key. That's exactly what Sieg did by rebounding from damage in a lap 93 crash. The No. 39 Chevrolet would get patched up and back in action for racing down the stretch. Sieg would battle among the leaders in the closing laps and hold off Jordan Anderson by the slimmest of margins to collect third-place at the checkered flag.

Sieg had a nice rebound season in 2024. The veteran driver marched to nine Top-10 finishes and shaved nearly five spots off his average finish over his poor 2023 campaign. It would all result in a respectable 13th-place finish in the final driver standings. Sieg will look to continue improving and continue seeking that first-career victory in the upcoming season. While a win may be a long shot for this driver and team, double digit Top 10's is certainly an attainable goal. Sieg even finished runner-up three times last season, so even breaking thru for that first win is not completely out of the question. RSS Racing will continue to run Fords in the upcoming season and we don't expect many changes to this small race team. Sieg's consistency is one of his defining traits. He may get upstaged by the bumper crop of young drivers this season, but Sieg still carries plenty of fantasy racing worth.
