Cole Palmer News: Will build minutes gradually

Palmer is fully available and will build his minutes gradually in upcoming fixtures, coach Enzo Maresca said in the press conference. "He is available. In the last game, Cole was on the bench but with ten players, it was more complicated for Cole [to return] as he needs to come back to a [level of match] fitness condition. He is available and can start the game. The idea with him is to start giving him minutes until he is ready to play 90 minutes."

Palmer is fully fit and available for Chelsea but remained an unused substitute against Arsenal due to the red card the Blues received, as it wasn't the best scenario for his comeback. The playmaker will be building his competitive minutes in upcoming fixtures, with the aim to make him ready to play 90 minutes the earliest possible.
