Erick Sanchez Injury: Injury treated with caution
Sanchez (undisclosed) has missed the first three games of the Clausura tournament due to a minor issue, with coach Andre Jardine saying "it's not a muscle injury, it's sometimes a discomfort, a feeling, and that's why we are being very cautious as a precaution", Leon Lecanda of ESPN reported Sunday.
Sanchez is expected to be in contention to play in the next Liga MX match against Necaxa given that his current problem is not believed to be significant. His return will give the team a balanced midfield option, who could be included in the lineup at the expense of either Alexis Gutierrez or Rodrigo Dourado. Over the Apertura 2025 campaign, Sanchez tallied two goals in 15 appearances while averaging 1.7 shots (0.6 on target), 23.8 accurate passes and 1.1 tackles per contest.
