Giorgio Scalvini News: Bench option in cup game

Scalvini (thigh) was an unused sub in Wednesday's Coppa Italia match versus Genoa.

Scalvini recovered from his latest setback after skipping the previous three games. He has featured just once since mid-September due to multiple thigh problems. He'll re-join the rotation in the back, competing especially with Odilon Kossonou and Berat Djismiti, but he might be managed very carefully for a while, given his injury woes so far. He has registered one goal, six tackles, six interceptions and 11 clerances in five appearances (three starts), with no clean sheets.
