Leoni was figured to have suffered a major injury after he was stretchered off the field Tuesday and has received some of the worst news possible, as the defender is done for the season due to a torn ACL. This is a rough turn for the young defender after just signing with the club, not even featuring in league play before the injury. He will now be set for a long spell of recovery, likely not to see the field again until next campaign.
