Nicolas Ibanez Injury: Forced off Tuesday

Ibanez was replaced in the 30th minute of Tuesday's Leagues Cup win over Houston Dynamo, about which manager Guido Pizarro said "he felt like he had a cramp" but "we'll see what analysis the medical team does".

Ibanez's injury doesn't seem to be serious based on initial reports, although it's still being evaluated. Assuming backups Andre-Pierre Gignac and Edgar Ivan Lopez are in better shape, Tigres could rest the Argentinian in the next game against San Diego and possibly have him back as a starter for subsequent rounds. He had just scored his first two goals of the campaign during his second appearance.
