Ward secured three of four targets for 20 yards and a touchdown in the Brahmas' 24-18 win over the Defenders on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wideout came into his first UFL season with 110 professional catches on his resume, including 88 at the NFL level with the Eagles, but he'd yet to find the end zone on the campaign until Sunday. However, Ward's nine-yard scoring grab with just under six minutes remaining in the third quarter Sunday snapped an 18-18 tie and turned out to be the difference in the game. Through four weeks, Ward's short-area role -- he's averaging 5.9 yards per reception on his 13 catches -- strongly resembles the one he filled with the NFL's Eagles, and he should continue to serve as a complementary component in Week 5 at home against the Roughnecks.
