Duggan entered the Battlehawks' 30-15 loss to the Renegades on Saturday for
Manny Wilkins (leg) and completed eight of 17 passes for 78 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions and rushed 10 times for 42 yards.
ANALYSISWilkins had to be carted off after what seemed to be a non-contact injury and resulting fumble with just under 13 minutes remaining in the first quarter, and Duggan took over immediately thereafter since the loose ball was returned for a touchdown by Arlington's
Chris Odom. As his final numbers indicate, Duggan was more effective as a rusher than passer, struggling with his accuracy, taking six sacks and finishing with a forgettable rating of 20.8. However, with Wilkins' injury appearing to potentially be of the season-ending variety, Duggan is highly likely to remain in the top job for at least a Week 5 home matchup against the Panthers next Saturday night.
