Amoore is an undersized rookie at 5-foot-6, but she had plenty of success in college between Virginia Tech and Kentucky. Over her final three collegiate seasons -- two of which were with the Hokies and one of which was with the Wildcats -- she averaged 18.2 points, 6.2 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 36.1 minutes per game. The Australian is known as a hardworking player and should have an opportunity to compete for a role with the Mystics after being selected with the No. 6 pick in this year's draft, even if her size presents a learning curve to begin her time at the professional level. Washington also drafted guard Sonia Citron with the No. 3 pick in the draft, but Amoore can serve as a point guard and learn behind Brittney Sykes early in her career. Amoore will likely have some time to develop early in her professional career, but the Mystics' veterans have dealt with injuries in recent years, which could allow the rookie to carve out some streaming fantasy value at some point. The Mystics selected Amoore with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft on Monday, Mitchell Hansen of CanisHoopus.com reports.

ANALYSIS
The 24-year-old guard will join Kiki Iriafen and Sonia Citron in Washington for the 2025 campaign. Amoore is an undersized guard with speed, and she averaged 19.6 points, 6.9 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals across 36.7 minutes per game in 31 outings during her final collegiate season with Kentucky. The 5-foot-6 guard will likely compete for playing time with Citron and Jade Melbourne behind Brittney Sykes in Washington.
